Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Assistant to join our dynamic
clinical research team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing stem cell biology technologies
translating into therapeutic applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious technician to
contribute to cutting-edge research and make a meaningful impact on human health.
Onsite: Gillette, WY
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize protocols for the isolation, culture, and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells (adipose and bone marrow)
- Design and conduct experiments to explore the properties and behavior of stem cells
- Investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying stem cell self-renewal, differentiation, and reprogramming.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate the therapeutic potential of stem cell-based approaches for various diseases and conditions.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data using advanced techniques and bioinformatics tools.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in stem cell
- research.
- Contribute to the preparation of research proposals, publications, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and analyses in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or equivalent degree in Biology (Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry), or a related field required. Master's preferred.
- Experience in Cell and Gene Therapy translational sciences.
- Proven expertise in stem cell culture techniques, including mesenchymal, hematopoietic and umbilical cord stem cells.
- Knowledge of embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) is a plus..
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, immunostaining and FACS analysis is required
- Strong background in cell culturing signaling, growth and differentiation pathways. Cell Culture image analysis
- Proficiency in data analysis using statistical software and bioinformatics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated track record of scientific productivity.
- Prior experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required.
