Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician , you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities and equipment are maintained in safe and effective working conditions. Your responsibilities will span various operational and facilities areas, adapting to the immediate needs of the department. While you may have specialized skills, all technicians are expected to perform general maintenance and repairs across all assignments, including:

Key Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Utilize electrical diagnostic equipment, including digital and analog meters.
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers and managers.
• Mentor and develop team members and technicians in training.
• Engage with vendors aligned to facilities.
• Multi-task efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Change load wheels on power equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair low and high voltage controls.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in building, equipment, and storage areas.
• Complete work orders and document all activities to comply with MP2 requirements.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures diligently.
• Bring experience from a distribution center maintenance setting.
• Have building conveyor maintenance experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Prior maintenance experience with forklifts, conveyors, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Technical school or training is a plus.
• Proficient in navigating email and Microsoft Suite.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Welding skills preferred, but not required.

Education

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
