Job Summary:

Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where students feel safe and empowered to learn.
Establish and maintain behavioral guidelines that promote a productive learning atmosphere.
Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate English language support across all subjects.
Assess student development regularly and adjust instruction to ensure continuous language improvement.
Design and deliver lessons aligned with school and state standards to support ELL students in their language acquisition.
Provide personalized lessons to meet the specific needs of English Language Learner (ELL) students in one-on-one and small group settings.

Requirements

Earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an ESL endorsement.
Demonstrate a successful track record as an ESL Teacher or in a comparable position.
Showcase experience supporting students from diverse linguistic and cultural communities.
