Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist – Spring Coiling to join their growing team. In this role, you'll operate, set up, and maintain CNC spring coiling machines to produce high-quality springs that meet strict specs. If you’re hands-on, quality-focused, and experienced with spring coiling equipment — this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up CNC/manual coiling machines for compression, extension, and torsion springs
• Adjust settings (tension, pitch, feed) for precision and consistency
• Perform changeovers and troubleshoot defects
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and load testers
• Conduct machine maintenance and replace worn tooling
• Work with materials like stainless steel, music wire, and specialty alloys
• Collaborate with engineering on new products and process improvements
• Maintain safety and organization using 5S and lean principles

CNC Machinist Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
• 2+ years of spring coiling or metal forming experience
• Experience with CNC coiling machines (e.g., WAFIOS, MEC) preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and QC tool skills
• Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and solid problem-solving
