Job Summary:

The Project Manager will bid, organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s development efforts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversees a team of electricians to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to specifications.
• Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develops and oversees bids, performs estimating functions on projects. Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
• Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
• Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
• Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
• Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
• Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
• Communicates and collaborates with the Safety Department to promote a safe work environment for staff, customers, and vendors.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project being bid.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Clean driving record

Education and Experience:

• Electrical background.
• At least three years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to walk/maneuver through a job site.
• Must be able to lift to 30 pounds at times.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

• Project management: 3 years (Preferred)
