About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Water/Wastewater division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders. This role involves providing overall guidance on the design and technical aspects of the team's projects, preparing proposals and client agreements, and monitoring project tasks, budgets, and schedules. The Vice President will also oversee the technical and professional development of the project teams, participate in the development of company design and production standards, and actively engage in professional associations and civic organizations. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university, a Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Texas, and at least 15 years of experience in managing substantial projects in the water and wastewater sector. A strong background in project management, including cost estimation, and at least 10 years of experience in a managerial role is required. The ideal candidate will have experience and contacts in the Houston area, proven communication skills, and a track record of leading a team of engineers and support personnel. Active involvement in professional associations and civic organizations is also a key qualification for this position.
