About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Retail Construction Superintendent. You will oversee all aspects of remodel retail construction projects within malls and strip malls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of retail remodel construction projects.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring they meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Develop and implement construction schedules and budgets.
• Conduct daily job site inspections to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Maintain clear and concise communication with all project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Resolve construction issues proactively and efficiently.
• Document project progress with clear and accurate reports.
• Oversee all safety protocols on the job site.
• Ensure all permit requirements are met.
• Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's construction processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail construction as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with mall and strip center experience.
• Proven track record of completing retail remodel construction projects on time and under budget.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate subcontractors.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel extensively, focusing on the East Coast to the Midwest.
