Be loyal to your team and Nimble's mission. About the Role: We are looking for a System Integration and Test Engineer to support development of Nimble’s robotic systems. In this role, you will take ownership of firmware test development, execution, and continuous improvement activities. You will play a critical role in working with our world-class cross-functional team to help develop and build the world’s most advanced robotic systems for the world’s biggest robotics opportunity! Responsibilities Design the full power system, design circuits, layouts and PCBs, debug electronics, use all the tools (oscilloscope etc) Architect, develop and maintain large electromechanical systems Provide input on all aspects of product development from brainstorming to final delivery. Welcome new challenges and work independently across disciplines to both investigate issues and identify solutions. Qualifications Fast learner, A-player, great work ethic and ambitious BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. 2-5 years of Electrical Engineering experience. Experience developing PCBs, firmware, and testing platforms for mechatronic/robotic systems

CAN, I2C, SPI, TCP/IP, UART, MQTT

Experience working with low voltage brushless and brushed electric motors Experience designing electronics for high EMI environments Experience designing basic analog and digital circuits Experience working with embedded systems / microcontrollers oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer PCB schematics, design, layout, fabrication Wiring harnessing, cable management, etc. Power electronics design Linux, STM32, RTOS Embedded systems and firmware - C/C++, Python Experience with Altium Additional Requirements Experience with robotics and/or industrial automation Culture: We embrace challenges and strive to make the impossible possible each day.
