Join Our Team as a Surgical Device Repair Specialist

Get ready to dive into a crucial role where you'll handle the inspection, repair, and refurbishment of surgical instruments and devices. You will take the lead in providing an exemplary Customer Experience through efficient and high-quality repair work in a laboratory setting.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in basic to advanced repairs of surgical devices following precise specifications.
• Utilize standardized testing to diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and appraise device functionality.
• Conduct reassembly and compliance testing for surgical devices to ensure operational standards.
• Proactively identify and report risks or issues, maintaining clear and timely communication.
• Follow and uphold Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and support ISO compliance initiatives.
• Perform workplace organization and safety audits in line with site requirements to maintain a secure and efficient environment.

Experience Required:

• Essential : Verifiable experience of at least two years, with a minimum of one year in a relevant role. Considerable exposure to repair, assembly, or testing domains.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 25 pounds and maneuver instrument carts up to 150 pounds.
• Flexibility to adapt to diverse working schedules as required by business and customer needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred : Dexterity with soldering or brazing tools, possession of relevant technical certifications, and a post-secondary education in a vocational/technical discipline.

• Ability to handle minute assemblies with acute attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Competency in troubleshooting, teamwork, customer interactions, and effective communication.
