Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an energetic college junior to join a diverse and dynamic team in order to gain valuable business experience and exposure to defense work in support of Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). Some of the duties will include: Assisting with documentation reviews Assisting with various aspects of documentation printing distribution Creating electronic fillable-forms Assist in writing and reviewing processes, white papers, power point presentations, etc Required Education, Experience, & Skills Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, or Communications. Candidate should have completed or nearing completion of 2 years of coursework towards the degree at an accredited college/university. Technical writing/editing, including grammar skills Ability to perform documentation coordination and production activities with specific attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Familiar Microsoft Office products Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Familiar with Adobe [InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat], Arbortext or Vulcan Familiar with creating or editing graphics Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $43847 - $59143 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
