Job Title: Summer Business Analyst

Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Summer Business Analyst to join our team for a summer internship. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis and contribute to key projects and initiatives. The Summer Business Analyst will assist in gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the collection and analysis of business data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Support the development and documentation of business requirements, process improvements, and project plans.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business needs and gather information for analysis.
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations on business performance, metrics, and project updates.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Assist with the implementation of business solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, and contributing to discussions and problem-solving.
• Support ad-hoc business analysis tasks and projects as needed, including data gathering and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field (must be a current student).
• Basic understanding of business analysis principles, data analysis, and project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business analysis tools; familiarity with business intelligence software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and present findings.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in data analysis and reporting.
• Eagerness to learn and apply business analysis concepts and practices in a real-world setting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment.
