Our Government Health and Human Services (HHS) team collaborates with state agencies nationwide, managing human services, Medicaid, public health, behavioral health, and other services to achieve agency goals. Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Manager in the Human Services (HHS) team, you will manage daily activities, build relationships with Human Services agencies, and drive growth and delivery. Approximately 60% of your time will focus on business development, origination, and capture efforts, with the remaining 40% on delivering contracted work. You will oversee project parameters, participate in resource planning, and manage client expectations.

Key capabilities include:

  • Experience with state Human Services organizations, including policy, processes, and platforms
  • Knowledge of Human Services programs such as behavioral health, child welfare, childcare, and eligibility systems
  • Proficiency in project management, industry platforms, and technologies
  • Ability to foster collaboration and promote inclusivity
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Leadership in engagement planning and execution
  • Contributions to business development through proposals and marketing
  • Effective communication with partners and clients
  • Relationship building with key influencers
  • Sharing industry insights and best practices
  • Team management, motivation, and development

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • At least eight years of relevant experience with demonstrated client impact and team leadership
  • Experience working with state Human Services agencies in areas such as project centralization, transformation, and process improvement
  • Ability to develop client relationships and new business
  • Mentorship and staff development skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance (preferred)

Preferred qualifications

  • Portfolio and project management experience
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
