This is 6 Months contract to hire role so looking USC and GC candiadtes only
Location: Mound, MN hybrid preferred. If remote, would come into the office 1x/quarter.
Sr. ERP Programming Analyst Infor XA and Sage 500 ERP systems.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly customized environment, enjoys solving complex business problems, and can bridge the gap between technical systems and user needs.
You'll play a key role in modernizing legacy systems, supporting a major financial system upgrade, and helping onboard several new business units. This is a hands-on role that blends development, analysis, and light project management -perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats.
ResponsibilitiesSupport and enhance ERP systems (Infor XA, Sage 500) through custom development and configuration
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across all ERP modules
Evaluate and implement user-requested changes via structured programming request processes
Document and test new or modified programs to ensure accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with users to translate business needs into technical solutions
Guide and manage programming projects, including documentation and communication with stakeholders
Assist in data cleansing and system optimization as new companies are onboarded
Train users and operations staff on new features and workflows
Must-Have Skills:
Development background with RPG and SQL
Experience with IBM iSeries / Power9 platforms
Strong analytical and communication skills-able to explain technical concepts in plain language
Aptitude or experience in project coordination and documentation
Ability to dig into legacy code and understand system behavior
Preferred Experience:
Infor XA (MAPICS), Infor Syteline, JDE, or similar ERP systems
Familiarity with Sage 500, Infor CRM (Saleslogix), or AS/400 environments
Manufacturing industry experience
Tools: Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, HTML, SSRS, SSIS
