Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Taunton, MA

Compensation: $19.50/hr

Job Type: Full-Time (Non-Exempt | Hourly)

Your Role

• Receive, inspect, and reconcile incoming products and materials
• Unpack and put away items in designated inventory locations
• Maintain accurate receiving documentation and system entries
• Pick, pack, and ship daily orders to meet customer deadlines
• Utilize UPS/FedEx software for domestic and international shipping
• Organize and maintain the dock and inventory areas, including cycle counting
• Ensure proper distribution of shipping and receiving documentation
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work environment

Who You Are

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and safety rules
• Basic math skills, including fractions and percentages
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for long periods

Work Environment

• Combination of shop and warehouse environments
• Exposure to temperature fluctuations, noise, dust, and warehouse elements
• Proper safety measures must be followed at all times
