Salary: 110,000-180,000

The ServiceNow Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of work through sprints and will lead the stewardship of the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. The successful candidate will oversee the cohesion of multiple technology/service modules and serve as the guiding light for the ServiceNow platform. This candidate must be able to balance priorities, negotiate deliverable expectations, ensure teams deliver functionality according to milestones, and maintain ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders.

Please note, this role offers a flexible work arrangement, but the candidate should be local to the Washington DC metro area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience managing a ServiceNow Agile development team, with responsibility for daily management, ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • 3 years of experience in Agile Methodology (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
  • 5 years of experience working with clients to solve business problems using technology and data-driven techniques.
  • 5 years of experience in ServiceNow platform development in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong domain expertise in ServiceNow applications: SPM, HAM, IRM, SecOps, and Performance Analytics.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support portfolio work, facilitate training, and promote adoption of the ServiceNow product stack.
  • Manage workflow alongside the Project Owner and stakeholders to ensure backlog readiness.
  • Define a clear, big-picture, product-based roadmap.
  • Develop progress reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and communicate the product vision and roadmap.
  • Manage expectations during platform development, module rationalization, and requirements gathering.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation and operationalization of ServiceNow, ensuring compliance with standards and business processes.
  • Identify and communicate risks, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with Solution Architects to identify technical requirements and solutions.
  • Guide configuration and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Act as escalation point for issues and problems.
  • Define scope, develop project plans, and estimate resources based on business needs.
  • Coach and motivate Scrum teams, promote communication, and increase velocity.
  • Ensure quality of testing plans based on requirements.
