We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our thriving team in the Finance industry. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operations, underwriting, customer service, and account management. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of client service, including renewals, policy changes, proposals, applications, and certificates. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial coverages and procedures, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring all client needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client retention.
3. Review and analyze client's existing coverages, identifying gaps and making recommendations for improvements.
4. Prepare and present proposals to clients, explaining the details of coverages and benefits.
5. Process policy changes, renewals, applications, and binders in accordance with company procedures.
6. Issue certificates of insurance and manage policy documentation.
7. Collaborate with underwriting team to ensure accurate and efficient policy issuance.
8. Assist clients with claims process, acting as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers.
9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
10. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Finance industry.
2. Proven experience in operations, underwriting, customer service, and account management.
3. Extensive knowledge of commercial coverages, procedures, and regulations.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
5. Ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
6. Proficient in the use of standard office software and industry-specific systems.
7. Professional insurance designation (e.g., CIP, CRM) is an asset.
8. Experience in life and health insurance, with a strong understanding of benefits, is preferred.
