Job Title: Safety Officer

Shift: Day and Night

• Day Shift Pay: $27.75/hour
• Night Shift Pay: $29.25/hour

Responsibilities:

• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations during the installation and commissioning of the new stations in the battery pack assembly line.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards on-site.
• Incident Management: Investigate and report any safety incidents or near-misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Training and Guidance: Provide safety training and guidance to workers, supervisors, and other team members to promote a culture of safety.
• Inspections: Perform routine inspections of tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact in case of emergencies and ensure proper procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in industrial or automation-related projects.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards in industrial settings.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver safety training and liaise with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving safety concerns promptly.
