Job Details Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to manage procurement, inventory, and supplier relationships. This role will involve strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, demand forecasting, and process improvements to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with ERP systems, and a proactive approach to managing both internal and external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Inventory Management: Develop and execute strategies to optimize the procurement of materials, manage inventory, and reduce
costs. Monitor industry trends and adjust plans to maintain quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead supplier sourcing and negotiations, ensuring alignment with company goals. Manage relationships with
suppliers, ensure smooth product launches, and drive proactive strategies for new product introductions.
- Continuous Improvement & Leadership: Improve procurement and inventory processes to align with organizational goals. Provide expert
consultation to senior management, resolve complex issues, and ensure data integrity.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or 7+ years' relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or
production planning.
- 3+ years' experience in procurement or production planning is required.
- Core Skills: Strong analytical and math skills for data analysis, cost evaluation, and forecasting. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
- Key Competencies: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proven experience managing inventory, forecasting demand, and developing
procurement strategies. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement. Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. • Willingness to engage with warehouse and production teams to ensure effective role performance. Daily in-office presence required for real-time
collaboration with teams.
Desired (Optional):
- Certifications: APICS CPIM or CPSM certification is a plus.
- Additional Skills: Experience with demand planning, creating dashboards, and statistical tools for supply chain risk assessment.
- Knowledge of supplier compliance audits and quality assurance processes.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in food, spices, or meat manufacturing industries is preferred.
