Job Description

An expanding, busy pediatric practice at the premier location in the Bronx is looking for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to work full-time five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, rotating Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Our clinic provides medical care for children from birth to twenty-one years of age. In addition we have extensive experience working with new graduates and offer pediatric rotations for several local NP schools. All our physicians are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and have significant experience in pediatric and adolescent medicine.

*Job Description:*
* Provide comprehensive, high-quality primary care to children of all ages, ranging from birth up to the age of 21
* Collaborate with the Medical Director and other members of the care team
* Timely maintain appropriate medical records in compliance with the standards of healthcare by utilizing Office Practicum EMR
* Demonstrate outstanding "bedside manners": patient-oriented with empathy, excellent active listening and communication skills along with exceptional clinical capabilities and judgment
* Engage in learning and continuous quality improvement

*Qualifications:*
* Valid New York state licensure with prescriptive authority.
* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment.
