Impulse Trading is looking for a talented Pallet Builder to assist our small but high volume Pallet Shop with supplying our internal and external customers with quality built pallets. This successful candidate will be a real go-getter, self motivated and a team player with a strong work ethic! Forklift and leadership experience is a plus! Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pallet Repair and assembly in repairing a pallet on a repair table, removing defective boards, replacing them with new boards and nailing replaced boards in place.
• Keep inventory of number of pallets built and stamp eligible pallets, marking out international stamps
• Ensuring that proper materials are ready for pallet production
• Using Holtec saw to cut bundles of lumber to length
• Uses a pneumatic nail gun to repair or assemble pallets
• Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of a nail gun.
• Willingness to lead a small team of employees using basic leadership and management skills to include timekeeping and production goals management
• Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
• Abide by Safety rules and requirements
• Be a team player and leader
• Be reliable; regular, dependable attendance is expected.
• Valid current driver's license and clean driving record
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to keep working area clean and organized.
• Use basic math skills
