Acuren is currently seeking full-time Nested Rope Access Coaters/Insulators/ Soft Crafts for Beaumont, TX and Lake Charles, LA operations.

The Rope Access technicians are responsible for managing the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, to organize work functions specific to rope access jobs, and to supervise crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work.

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques
• Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a level 1 Rope Access Technician
• Assist other technicians as required
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment

• NCCER certification a plus
• NACE certification a plus
• Metal Mechanics is a plus
• Must possess a up to date TWIC Card
• IRATA or SPRAT Level I Certification is a plus including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling
• Valid drivers license preferred
• Required certification levels for specific projects
• Must have industrial refinery experience
• Must have mechanical industrial experience
• Preferred individual with the NCCER certification (Trained Individual)
