A FQHC is seeking a family nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Colebrook, NH.
The position for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) starts as soon as possible and lasts through the end of the calendar year, with the potential for extension. The role involves working Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with no on-call duties. The average patient load is 16 patients per day, mostly middle-aged and older adults. Required certifications include an active New Hampshire (NH) license and DEA. While COVID or flu vaccination is preferred, it is not mandatory. The NP will be supported by LPNs and MAs, with two to three other providers seeing patients on different days. The EMR system used is Centricity. Credentialing is expected to take about two weeks, utilizing a new provider enrollment service.
