Position Overview: We are currently seeking Line Cooks to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook at Sea Dog Brewing Co., you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency. Whether you're a seasoned cook or just starting your culinary career, if you have a passion for food and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities: - Prepare a variety of menu items, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring efficient and organized cooking processes.
- Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure dishes meet our high-quality standards.
- Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while working with fellow team members.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role is a plus but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a culinary career.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
