Nature of Work: The Community Relations Internship provides an opportunity to learn about the planning, execution and implementation of Community Relations/Kroenke Sports Charities department.The position will assist with the coordination of department programs, community events and player appearances.
Examples of work performed: - Assists with:
- Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets community programs
- Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets license plate campaign
- Community Pride Ticket program
- Autograph item donation program
- Game night programs and events (occasional)
- Department inventory management and organization
- Data entry, photo labeling and department metrics management
- Fundraising events activities:
- Events
- Colorado Avalanche Charity Golf Classic
- Mile High Dreams Gala
- Colorado Avalanche Charity Brunch
- Online and in-arena auctions
- League initiatives
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: - Minimum
- High School Diploma or GED
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Preferred
- Currently pursuing, or recently received, a college degree
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver's license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
