We are seeking a full-time, qualified attorney with 3+ years of experience, primarily in business immigration law, to join our Employment Practice Group. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Experience in employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas, I-9 filings and E-Verify, as well as immigration audits and raids, is essential. Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills are required.

What You’ll Do: As an Immigration Attorney at BrownWinick Law Firm, you will have the opportunity to manage a wide range of immigration-related legal matters within the employment space. You will be responsible for advising clients on business immigration processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and supporting businesses with immigration audits and workforce authorization matters. This is a client-facing role that requires both legal expertise and an understanding of the intersection between immigration law and employment practices.

You’ll work closely with our Employment Practice Group and assist in developing strategies that align with the firm’s priorities. Your contributions will help clients navigate complex immigration challenges while providing comprehensive, strategic legal support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on business immigration matters, including employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1, etc.).
  • Handle I-9 filings, E-Verify processes, and employment eligibility compliance.
  • Support clients through immigration audits and assist in managing responses to government inquiries or raids.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing immigration law support and advice.
  • Work closely with the firm’s leadership to ensure immigration practices align with the firm’s broader legal strategy and goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to ensure the integration of immigration law into broader business and employment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business immigration law.
  • Experience with employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas, I-9 filings, E-Verify, and immigration audits.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client service skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.

Why Join Us? At BrownWinick Law Firm, you will work in a collaborative, supportive environment that values professional growth and development. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence clients' business strategies through expert immigration legal guidance while working alongside a dynamic team.
