**What Youll Do:**

**Promote Safety.** Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with OSHA and Vulcan standards.

**Perform General Physical Activities** . Perform a variety of tasks assisting within the operation of the job site including using hand tools and shoveling/raking materials.

**Traffic Control.** Assist in moving, placing and maintaining traffic control devices. Flag traffic within lane closure operations.

**Additional Responsibilities** . Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

**Skills Youll Need:**

**Experience.** Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.

**Knowledge of Best Practices** . Knowledge of general principles and practices of asphalt construction is preferred but not required.

**Flexibility** . Must be able to work overtime and extended hours as needed. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.

**License** . Valid Alabama drivers license is preferred.
