Hiring now: Full or Part-time school-based Occupational Therapists in the DMV area!

We are seeking Full-time or Part-time Occupational Therapists (OT) in person for school-based assignments in the DMV, to join our team in treating and assessing school-based needs.

Celebrations Speech Group is a private practice and Non-Public Agency with decades of experience providing quality special education and therapy services to children with special needs in schools, homes, and in clinics. Responsibilities:

• Implement direct Occupational Therapy services and implement IEP treatment plan.
• If needed, supervision of a COTA.
• Document and store treatment plans and progress reports.
• Update student progress reports.
• Implement and document the therapeutic interventions and provide feedback to the special education team and COTA on the student's progress during treatment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: Current Occupational Therapy license for D.C., MD, or VA.
• Graduate Degree in Occupational Therapy with an active OT license or eligibility pending.
• Ability to build rapport with staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive and collaborative demeanor.
