As part of its Forestry Initiative, Daki Menan Lands and Resources Corporation is recruiting forestry crew members for contract/seasonal positions.
Job Description:
Crew Members will assist the Crew Boss/General Manager with the following tasks:
· Assist in the completion of forestry projects (e.g. tree planting and thinning)
· Utilize GPS software (Avenza) to provide mapping.
· Work alongside the crew in tree planting, thinning, sawmill and firewood operations
· Will be expected to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
· Follow Safety Procedures and Policies
· Be able to lift up to 50 lbs (pounds)
· Follow direction from all senior management
