• Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
• Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.

What You'll Do:

• Be a Strategic Partner: Own the monthly financial review process, analyzing performance across all business channels and providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Drive Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with budget owners across different departments to develop accurate and insightful forecasts. Assist with the quarterly re-forecasting process, identifying and analyzing variances to provide recommendations for optimization.
• Champion Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements within finance and accounting functions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and potentially generate cost savings. This includes refining existing processes like budgeting cycles, financial reporting, and cost analysis [previous response].
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with key stakeholders across the company, including Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Supply Chain, to drive financial and strategic insight through in-depth analysis.
• Be a Data-Driven Storyteller: Develop and deliver compelling presentations that translate complex financial information into actionable insights for senior management to support data-driven decision-making.

Who You Are:

• Experienced Finance Professional: You have 4+ years of proven experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or accounting, preferably within a fast-paced, omnichannel, or startup environment.
• Analytical Powerhouse: You possess a strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP, key accounting principles, and forecasting methodologies. You are proficient in identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyzing complex data sets to extract actionable insights.
• NetSuite Whiz: You have demonstrable experience using NetSuite for financial reporting, budgeting, and managing complex datasets, and you're proficient with advanced Excel functions.
• Process Improvement Advocate: You possess a proactive mindset for identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve accuracy within financial operations.
• Exceptional Communicator: You excel at communicating financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences, tailoring your approach to ensure clarity and understanding. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals [previous response].
