CSS is looking for an Intern to assist the Corporate Accounting and Finance teams

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end financial close
• Prepare journal entries
• Help with accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank statement reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Work with the finance team on yearly forecasting/budgeting efforts
• Budget to actual expense analysis
• Trending expense analysis
• Data entry
• Special projects in the areas of finance/accounting as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be able to work in person in Reston, VA.
• Enrolled or Graduated from an accredited degree program, preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting, or related field, be in good standing, and have completed at least their freshman year

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework in accounting and economics, statistics is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Initiative and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investing.
