Field Technician

Are you a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with a passion for telecommunications?

Join our team and play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge telecommunications infrastructure. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems, including fiber optic and copper cabling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians on installation procedures and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of installation processes and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in structured cabling or a related field.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic cabling principles and practices.
• Proficiency in cable installation, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fiber Optic Association (FOA) certifications (e.g., CPCT, CFOT)
• BICSI Installer certifications (Level 1 or Level 2)
• Experience with a variety of cabling systems and technologies.
