Job Description

This wonderful family in Fairfax, Virginia is looking for a caring and dependable part-time nanny to care for their toddler. They would like a nanny who can engage their daughter in fun, enriching activities and assist with light household tasks. Dependability is crucial as the family has experienced scheduling challenges in the past. Responsibilities:

• Engage her in interactive, educational, and playful activities that promote her development.
• Help with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning up after playtime, putting away toys, and tidying up dishes.
• Responsible for preschool pick up Monday through Friday
• Take her to the park or other outings (if you have a car, though it is not required).
• Communicate effectively with parents about Laura’s day and activities.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience caring for toddlers.
• Ability to plan fun, enriching activities tailored to a young child’s interests.
• Reliable and punctual, with a proven track record of dependability.
• Having a car is helpful but not required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Additional Notes: The family is flexible when it comes to planned breaks, such as vacations, but reliability and commitment are highly valued.
