About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Dermatologist to join our renowned Dermatology Service within the Division of Subspecialty Medicine in the Department of Medicine. This position is based at our regional site in Basking Ridge, New Jersey , and focuses on oncodermatology and consultative dermatology.

Our Dermatology Service boasts over 20 full-time faculty members who deliver care in state-of-the-art facilities across MSK’s network, extending from New Jersey to Eastern Long Island. We are internationally recognized for our leadership in dermato-oncology and oncodermatology, with highly integrated multispecialty teams focused on:

• Melanoma
• Complex non-melanoma skin cancers
• Cutaneous lymphoma

We also offer specialty clinics for GVHD and wound care, along with exceptional programs for inpatient and outpatient consultative dermatology. Our world-class dermatology imaging program is at the forefront of developing and applying advanced imaging technologies, from 3D total body photography to subsurface reflectance confocal microscopy.

Research Opportunities

The research portfolio of our Dermatology Service includes:

• Optical engineering
• Artificial intelligence
• Basic and translational science
• Epidemiology
• Clinical trials

With over $5 million in annual funding from NIH, foundations, industry, and philanthropic sources, our research program is supported by a dedicated epidemiologist/biostatistician and a dermatology-specific informatics program.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who embodies excellence in training and possesses a strong clinical background with a keen interest in oncodermatology. The ideal applicant will have:

• Leadership skills and the ability to foster collaborative science
• A collegial approach to mentoring trainees and faculty
• Expertise in consultative dermatology and a commitment to delivering top-quality, empathetic clinical care

Requirements

• M.D., D.O., or equivalent
• Eligibility for New York and New Jersey State Licenses
• Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Child Abuse Identification & Reporting
• Board certified or board eligible in Dermatology
