Job Summary

We are seeking an Entry Level Sales Representative to join our team! As an Entry Level Sales Representative, you will be making new connections to potential clients and strengthening existing relationships with current clients, developing new advertising proposals and strategies for clients, and identifying new potential leads. You will also attend local networking events to make new connections and often work with other advertising agents to brainstorm and collaborate. The ideal candidate has experience in sales, exceptional communication skills, and works well both independently and in a team environment. 

Responsibilities 

  • Identify and make connections with new sales leads
  • Work with existing clients to build strong relationships and provide valuable advertising services
  • Attend local events to network with potential clients and identify opportunities
  • Work with other sales agents to brainstorm and collaborate
  • Negotiate in a face-to-face setting with prospective clients to generate leads and build relationships.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
  • Utilize systems to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate records of account information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability for the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on client needs and deliverables.
  • Develop strategies for account management that foster long-term partnerships and customer loyalty.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical sales support as needed, demonstrating product features and benefits to potential clients.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities by mentoring junior sales staff and contributing to team goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in a technical or business development role.
  • Strong skills in warm calling, negotiation, and relationship building with clients.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts and new markets.
  • Leadership capabilities that inspire confidence in both clients and team members.
