Job Description：

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Associate to join our team. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of recent wet lab experience. The Lab Associate will be responsible for supporting daily laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining the integrity of lab operations. The ideal candidate should be a team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment where teamwork is essential for success. The candidate should also be open to a flexible schedule, which may include occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities：

• Organize and maintain clean workspaces in compliance with lab safety standards.
• Monitor inventories and restock lab supplies as needed.
• Prepare buffer solutions according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Handle and store samples with accurate record-keeping to ensure data integrity.
• Perform liquid transfers with high precision using pipettes and automated equipment.
• Clean and maintain incubators, biological safety cabinets, and incubators.
• Harvest cell cultures using centrifuges and filtration for downstream processing.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments using an autoclave.
• Proper treatment and disposal of sterilized cell culture waste using an autoclave.
• Maintain and clean refrigerators and freezers.
• Maintain and calibrate small laboratory equipment including pH meters, UV spectrophotometers, scales, and balances.
• Safely handle, label, and dispose of chemicals in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Adhere to BSL-1 lab protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth lab operations and meet project goals.

Requirements：

• Associates degree or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field required.2-3 years of recent experience in wet lab environments, including both chemical and biological labs.
• Familiarity with BSL-1 lab protocols and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling, labeling, and disposal procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for accurate record-keeping.
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as pipettes and automated liquid handling systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written, for documentation and reporting.
• This job is a full-time position and includes the possibility of occasional weekend work.
