About the Role


As an eDiscovery Project Manager you will play an important role in managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of specific client-related eDiscovery projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. As the client’s contact and advocate within Nextpoint, you will be a key part in developing and nurturing these important relationships to maintain client satisfaction.

This is a great opportunity for a process and people oriented individual with a background in using eDiscovery software and project management. As the liaison between the end client and the Nextpoint team, you will play an integral role in the future and success of Nextpoint!

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Ability to problem solve and think analytically in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills

  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with Zendesk, SalesForce, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Platform a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with high profile clients

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and budgeting

  • Legal and/or e-discovery experience preferred

  • Tech savvy and has an interest in learning new software 

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or equivalent roles preferably at a SAAS, technology, e-discovery, or consulting company

  • Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility

  • Willing to work a hybrid schedule (4 days a week in Chicago Office) or occasional traveling on site to client

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer

Responsibilities

  • Work with documents in an eDiscovery database, including organizing, searching, importing, and producing

  • Helping clients understand capabilities of software and service offerings

  • Meet and consult with clients on overall firm or project-specific objectives and develop customized solutions for their needs

  • Lead, plan, communicate and facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables to both the client and internal team

  • Define project tasks and resource requirements including coordinating project staff

  • Manage and track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables

  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project including hours, expenses and budget burn

  • Evaluate all key project deliverables, as well as final product to ensure traceability of requirements, high quality and client acceptance

  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships by building a knowledge of each client's business, organization and objectives

  • Prepare reports detailing project quality, client and team satisfaction, and project success metrics

  • Explain implications of changes to project scope and/or objectives to the client and to the project team

  • Serving as an internal stakeholder for client projects
