**Gilcrest Jewett Lumber Company, a Division of USLBM is seeking a Driver Helper for our Waukee, IA** **Location.**

US LBM, a leading distributor of specialty building materials in the United States, has acquired Gilcrest Jewett Lumber Company, a building products dealer and manufacturer with five locations in Iowa.

* Loading and unloading orders

* Riding with the driver to deliver product in a safe and efficient manner.

* Keeping records and reports for inventory accuracy.

* Assisting with physical inventories

* Supporting driver in maintaining a clean and safe vehicle

* Operating a forklift in outside weather conditions.

* Keeps yard and work area neat and clean.

**Driver Helper Requirements:**

* **Experience.** 1 Year of Forklift Experience Preferred (Not Required)

* **Physical.** Ability to stand for 8+ hours per work shift. Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach.

* **Heavy Lifting.** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.

* **Teamwork.** Ability to work as a team and help motivate others.

* **Excellence.** Must have an excellent attendance history with a work ethic to match.

* **Willingness.** Must have the strive to learn several departments and work throughout different areas of our shop.
