Job Title: Director of Corporate Finance

Job Summary: The Director of Corporate Finance will oversee and direct the corporate finance function, including strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This executive role involves developing and executing financial strategies, managing high-impact financial projects, and collaborating with senior leadership to drive the organization's financial performance and strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the organization's long-term goals, including capital structure, investment strategies, and funding plans.
  • Lead and manage the corporate finance team, including recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of high-level financial reports, including financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and strategic financial plans.
  • Drive the financial planning process, including long-term strategic planning, annual budgeting, cash flow management, and scenario analysis.
  • Provide senior management and the board of directors with insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
  • Evaluate and oversee major investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, capital expenditures, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
  • Collaborate with senior executives and other departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and best practices, and implement effective financial controls and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and emerging best practices to ensure the organization's financial strategies remain competitive and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or a related field, with at least 7-10 years in a senior management or director-level role.
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling, strategic planning, investment analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, financial modeling software) and advanced data visualization techniques.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive organizational growth and performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting financial information and recommendations to senior executives and the board of directors.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including experience in leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices in corporate finance.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
