Summary: As the Director of Business Development, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to expand our market presence and shape the future of our Engineered Products division. Your primary focus will be on leading upgrade and modification projects across four key segments, with an eye toward driving exceptional growth. In this dynamic role, you’ll lead a high-performing team of professionals in our Bid & Proposal unit and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products and services are recognized as the gold standard in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive growth across product lines, platforms, OEMs, and market segments. Sales Campaigns : Lead the charge in crafting and executing successful sales projects, ensuring measurable success and impact. Financial Oversight : Serve as the financial lead, collaborating with the Growth Team to create and manage financial proformas, ensuring the profitability and financial health of all projects. Global Sales Leadership : Manage and oversee sales and business development reviews across multiple countries. Drive strategy execution with a laser focus on follow-up and achieving goals. Business Development Mastery : Create compelling business development packages, proposals, and presentations that resonate with customers and OEM partners. Customer Engagement : Work directly with OEMs to negotiate pricing and lead times, ensuring that every customer receives the best solutions available. Program Management : Lead projects with a hands-on approach, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and expectations for quality and performance. Industry Presence : Represent our company at key military conferences and Air Shows, collaborating with OEMs and promoting our solutions to key defense stakeholders. Finance Liaison : Act as the bridge between the sales and finance teams, ensuring clear communication and strategic alignment on project budgets and costs. OEM Relationship Management : Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with OEMs, ensuring alignment and success in project sales and execution. Quality Compliance : Lead all efforts to ensure that business operations and product deliveries meet or exceed AS9120 and ISO9001 standards. Empower and Inspire : Lead and supervise a talented team, providing guidance and mentorship to help them reach their full potential. Performance Excellence : Foster a culture of accountability by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and rewarding outstanding performance. Safety First : Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed, and investigate any incidents in a thorough and timely manner. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred). 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing environments, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a focus on defense or aerospace industries. Strong expertise in Salesforce and related CRM systems (preferred). Why Join Us?
