What You'll Bring: The TransUnion Events team builds and manages live and virtual experiences that positively showcase our brand, drive growth, and optimize return on investment. We create opportunities to foster customer relationships, acquire new leads, and build morale on internal events. We partner with cross-company stakeholders to deliver excellence at our events through operational efficiency, consistency, and end-to-end event execution. The Director, Events Management, is accountable for the successful planning and execution of TransUnion events: proprietary customer summits, advisory board meetings, sales kickoffs, employee incentive trips, and third-party tradeshows. This role will lead the team responsible for managing all logistics, production, and budget management of events. This leader will have strong business acumen, deep event management experience, and a strong ability to lead, coach, and inspire the team. 10+ years’ experience in B2B event management with a proven track record of producing successful events that drive business results; Enterprise SaaS and/or Financial Services experience preferred Bachelors’ degree in event/hospitality management, marketing, communications, or a related field Extensive event management experience, with the ability to assess what’s happening in the event industry and how TransUnion can leverage processes and technologies to drive efficiency in event execution. Strong leadership and people management experience with a proven record of hiring, mentoring, and leading with empathy This position is hybrid, requiring 2 days in the office, and must be based near the Chicago, IL, office. The role requires up to 25% travel. We'd love to see: Experience redefining processes and inspiring teams to embrace changes that enhance operational efficiency. Provide guidance and support throughout the transition process. Experience building exceptional relationships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Impact You'll Make: Oversee entire portfolio of TransUnion events across multiple lines of business and have accountability for the successful execution of events, including: Lead a team of event managers who plan and execute all major internal and external events of varying size, scope, and audiences. Build and foster strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders within the lines of business and corporate functions who provide brand messaging, objectives, and content for events. Manage relationships with external event agencies and suppliers, including contract negotiations and administrative work. Oversee all event management processes within the Events team and with shared services across Finance, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Risk, etc. Conduct thorough assessments of current event operations workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor the impact of changes and continuously seek opportunities for further enhancements. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the events team. Pay Scale Information: The U.S. base salary range for this position is $150,100.00 - $225,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job.
