SECU is seeking a Digital Content Manager.

A day in your life might include:

  • Conduct SEO and Keyword Research to increase web traffic and engagement.
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with brand guidelines and voice across all content deliverables.
  • Research member behavior data and competitors’ strategies.
  • Produce and continually optimize:
    • Website content across all sites (secumd.org, secumdfoundation.org, secufinancial.org, secumd.org/virtual-center, and secukindness.org), working directly in WordPress to complete updates.
    • Paid Ad messaging
    • Paid Social messaging
    • Digital Communications including Email, Online and Mobile Banking, and SMS channels
    • Blogs
    • Infographics
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry topics and trends to craft compelling content:
    • Distill complex financial concepts and language into content that is easily understood.
    • Identify gaps and recommend new topics.
    • Contribute to overarching editorial calendar.
  • Plan, create, test, and analyze content to attract and engage new members.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to produce high-quality content to promote products or services in partnership with Product Managers or Business Line Leaders.
  • Develop and orchestrate content strategies based on business goals and track growth.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates and conversions, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to enhance content marketing initiatives continually.

What we need from you:

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a similar position
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong ability to learn and understand target audience interests, behaviors, and content consumption patterns
  • Technical Proficiency with
    • WordPress (required) and other Content Management Systems
    • Web Publishing
    • SEO and Web Analytics
    • Microsoft Office suite
    • HubSpot (preferred)
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong organization skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of self-accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Takes personal responsibility for decisions, actions, failures and overall deliverables.
  • Utilizes oral and written communication to enhance relationships across the organization.
  • Clearly communicates information, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and organized manner.
  • Relates comfortably with people across levels, functions, culture, and geography.
  • Maintains composure and effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment.

Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education. Please Note: We typically hire at or below mid-point, which is $115,100 for this role.

  • Salary: Min. $88,500 – Max. $141,700
