Position: Designer
Position reports to Creative Lead
Date – October 7, 2024

Classification – Exempt, Full-time

Environment – Hybrid/Home or Work Office

Physical – Office, predominantly office-based, occasional travel may be required to attend events, conferences, or meet with key stakeholders. Physical requirements are generally limited to standard office activities, including sitting, standing, and using a computer for extended periods.

Position Overview

The Designer role involves creating visually compelling and strategic designs that support clients’ business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design for both digital and print, with experience in brand execution and informational design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft products, and knowledge of design principles are essential. The Designer will work closely with the CLUTCH cross-functional teams to develop creative assets that drive engagement and enhance brand visibility for a variety of clients across the agriculture and building materials industries.

Duties + Expectations:
• Align business strategy with creative strategy to execute designs with a focus in presenting complex information and quantifying metrics through presentations, infographics, kits, and displays to tell a story that resonates with clients and audiences.
• Concept, develop and produce designs and executions across a variety of channels, including desktop, print, and digital, in line with campaign and brand standards.
Work closely with a writer and partner and work with teammates across the company, including content and digital strategists, to ensure an integrated, collaborative approach to the work.
• Stay current with design trends, technology, and industry best practices to remain innovative and relevant.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Post-Secondary Occupational Education in Design
• 5-8 years of experience as a designer
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma/ XD
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs including PowerPoint and Word
• Multi-faceted, extensive experience with presentation and informational design, branding, digital, and campaign execution and knowledge of production
• Experience in agriculture and integrated ag systems a plus
• Front end web design and UI/UX experience a plus
• Experience with motion graphics a plus
