Job Description

We're searching for an experienced Creative Design Director to lead our clients design vision and bring innovative jewelry concepts to life. This role combines trend forecasting, competitive research, and hands-on creation of sketches and CADs. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, deep knowledge of jewelry engineering, and a passion for crafting timeless, wearable designs. With strong creative leadership, this person will play a pivotal role in ensuring each design aligns with the brand's aesthetic and quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research and present fashion fine and high jewelry trends , highlighting key materials, colors, and style directions.
• Identify innovative design ideas and extensions of existing bestsellers while staying true to the brand's identity.
• Stay informed on overarching fashion and cultural trends to ensure designs are fresh and relevant.
• Analyze domestic and international jewelry markets to identify emerging trends and competitive opportunities.
• Highlight gaps in product assortment and suggest key silhouettes or styles to expand offerings.
• Create detailed hand sketches and CAD designs with precise specifications (e.g., size, weight, metal, carat).
• Oversee factory CAD development to ensure engineering and specifications meet expectations.
• Collaborate with production partners to bring designs to life while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Partner with the marketing team on campaign photoshoots to ensure product styling aligns with brand storytelling.
• Review all samples with a critical eye for detail , ensuring flawless execution from concept to final product.
• Provide clear feedback to factories to address any design or quality concerns.
• Apply knowledge of metal costs and manufacturing techniques to ensure designs are both beautiful and cost-effective.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in jewelry design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Expertise in jewelry production techniques, materials, and engineering processes .
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator , and CAD design tools.
• Proven ability to forecast trends and translate them into commercially successful designs.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide creative teams.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills , with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• A sharp eye for detail and quality.
