Position Overview:
As a Corporate Hotel Revenue Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maximizing revenue, market share, and profits for multiple hotels. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Revenue Management, you will strategically coordinate revenue management processes to enhance customer service standards and drive profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Oversee daily reviews and implement room accommodation and rate inventory controls using the Revenue Management System and/or Property Management System, including weekly roll-in controls.
Collaborate with the Sales team to manage Group inventory effectively, providing guidance on cutoff date extensions, inventory adjustments, and analysis.
Participate in weekly group pick-up meetings and implement blackout dates in the Revenue Management System.
Ensure accurate demand information is maintained and that sellout strategies are in place, with daily balance checks between the Property Management System and Revenue Management System.
Confirm daily balance between OnQ FMS and the General Ledger in relation to past actuals.
Sales and Pricing Strategy Development:
Engage in weekly revenue management meetings, discussing topics such as booking pace, pricing strategies, and marketing opportunities.
Review daily reports, addressing concerns and developing action plans with the property team.
Collaborate with the Vice President of Revenue Management to create annual transient pricing and ensure consistency across all distribution channels.
Advise on marketing opportunities, particularly during peak demand periods, and implement incentive programs within Front Office and Reservations.
Critical Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze end-of-month room statistics reports and provide insights on performance against forecasts and implemented strategies.
Conduct displacement analysis of group business to assess its impact on RevPAR and review all tentative and definite group bookings for alignment with strategies.
Complete weekly booking pace reports and make strategy recommendations based on performance analysis.
Forecasting and Competitive Analysis:
Prepare weekly, monthly, and rolling forecasts along with the annual budget in collaboration with the Vice President of Revenue Management.
Monitor daily competitive shops and market trends, and stay informed about demand generators by reviewing demand calendars and city events.
Maintain historical data related to events and the performance of any promotions tied to these events.
Administrative Support:
Participate in training and development for Revenue Analysts and other hotel team members, promoting a collaborative environment.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in room statistics reports and contribute to the marketing plan and annual budget.
Supportive Functions:
In addition to essential duties, you may also assist with various supportive functions as determined by your supervisor, including:
Answering questions from hotel team members about revenue management with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
Maintaining organized and clean work areas to foster a productive environment.
Engaging in property staff meetings and other relevant gatherings as requested.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
A 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Previous experience in Revenue Management is essential.
OnQ R&I and GRO certification preferred, with IHG Revenue Management Certification Assessment for Full Service.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
A professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to deliver clear presentations.
Proficiency in statistical analysis, competitive analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with automated systems and related software, with a quick aptitude for learning new technologies.
Relevant experience as a Revenue Analyst is preferred.
