We are recruiting to hire for a mid sized privately held company with $300M annual revenue.

Hybrid. In office: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. WFH: Monday & Friday.

Office Location : Tacoma or Anchorage 

Position Title : Controller

Compensation: $150k to $182k 

• 3 weeks PTO + sick leave + 7 holidays.

Reports to : CFO. This leader has a great reputation for developing other leaders. 

Team Description : Your immediate accounting team is comprised of: a Finance Manager, 1 Sr Staff Accountant, 2 Staff Accountants, 1 AP Clerk, the CFO and you.

Hours/Schedule : ~8am to 5pm. During month end and quarter end, hours my flex up to 50/week. But if it ever gets higher than that, please let the CFO know so that the workload can be redistributed. He doesn't want you to burn out. 

Systems : NetSuite for Accounting. UltiPro for Payroll (you are just approving payroll), Concur for experience reimbursement, and there is an upcoming PowerBI project for you to work on. 

Challenges : 1) We'll appreciate your help getting the Accountants out from behind their desks and into the operations of the company more. Foster relationships and collaborations. Help everybody work together. 2) Elevate our financial reporting. We implemented a new financial system a year ago and are looking to pull even more intel out of it. 

Travel:  Yes, to Anchorage. Plan on one week every other month or so. The timing of these trips can be super flexible.

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $182,000.00 per year
