Job Title: Construction Consultant
Job roles:
The employment of a Construction Consultant includes but are not limited to the following.
Communication- In most cases you will be the first impression of the company. The Construction Consultant will be responsible for engaging in initial, respectful relationships with prospective clients and preserve positive relationships with past clients.
Work Attire - You will be issued uniform items which are to be maintained and clean when around clients and in public. Proper dress and grooming will also be required in order to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Work Setting- Applicants must be able to work from home and self manage their schedules. Occasionally, the team will meet in a public environment for meetings and company events. Team members are expected to maintain a synergistic relationship with others to deliver an exceptional customer experience. We believe that working together has a greater combined effect than a single individual.
Environmental Conditions- Construction Consultant can be a physical job. Consultants are required to have a reliable means of transportation with a good driving record in order to get to and from work and clients' houses. The Consultants will be conducting property inspections of homeowners where they will be required to carry a ladder. They will have to be able to conduct rooftop inspections.
Training- If you are new to the construction industry, do not worry. Our Construction Consultants go through a comprehensive training program. You will receive and maintain professional certifications for many roofing types and OSHA safety standards and certifications. Then you will be provided with on the job training in order to apply what you learn online to what you will be encountering at their customers homes.
Construction Consultants will also be provided with sales training. We believe in a low-pressure, educational selling approach that puts the clients in the best position for us to understand their needs. Sales meetings are conducted weekly in order to help you meet or exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities- The Construction Consultant will be evaluated based on the below measurable criteria. The achievement of the set targets will be used to determine their performance. Performance reviews will be conducted periodically to discuss progress, identify areas of improvement, and set new targets where necessary including the following.
Basic Skills- Consultants will be trained on all platforms provided by 14er Exteriors LLC but must have a basic understanding of the following.
Pay Structure:
The Construction Consultant is a full time position, 40 hours per week. Attendance at weekly sales meetings is required.
Commission Only- This pay structure would be a 1099 position with a high percentage of the profits providing maximum payouts on each job. Commissions will be paid upon collection of jobs the following week.
Base Pay + Commission- This structure will provide a weekly salary, a percentage of profits, plus an option of benefits. Commissions will be paid upon collection of jobs the following week.
