COBOL Programmer/Developer Permanent | No Sponsorship Available | Onsite - Bloomington, MN ABOUT OUR CLIENT We're seeking a Cobol Developer to enhance our client's operations platform, maintain applications, and update/upgrade as needed. This unique role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the strategy and development of critical applications. Strong collaboration skills are essential as you'll work across teams. You'll take ownership of designing, implementing, integrating, and deploying strategic solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE LEAD DEVELOLPER Work with the team to enhance business critical operations tools Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior developers Oversee the maintenance, administration, upgrades and enhancements Full Software Development Life Cycle - requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment Work with the business to understand their needs for enhancements. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE LEAD DEVELOPER Highly proficient with React and C# Node.js, Typescript, Linux, and Angular preferred Prior experience leading a team Azure DevOps and GitHub experience is a plus COMPENSATION This position comes with a salary range of $85,000-100,000 and comes with a full suite of benefits LOCATION This is an on-site daily position located in Bloomington, MN Timing is everything.
