Job Title: Clinical Psychologist
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000 annually
Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our mental health team in Florida. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation.
Responsibilities
* Psychological Assessment:
* Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological tests to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
* Conduct clinical interviews and gather collateral information to formulate accurate diagnoses.
* Therapeutic Interventions:
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs.
* Provide individual, group, and family therapy for a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders.
* Crisis Intervention:
* Respond promptly to clients in crisis, providing stabilization and de-escalation strategies.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and appropriate care.
* Consultation and Collaboration:
* Work closely with medical providers, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
* Offer expertise on psychological matters to support staff and enhance overall patient care.
* Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
* Prepare detailed reports for treatment planning and progress evaluation.
* Training and Education:
* Provide training and psychoeducation to clients, families, and staff.
* Stay current with the latest research and advancements in clinical psychology.
Qualifications
* Education:
* Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
* Licensure:
* Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Florida or eligibility for licensure.
* Experience:
* Minimum of 2-3 years of post-doctoral clinical experience preferred.
* Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.
* Skills and Competencies:
* Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
* Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
* Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse client backgrounds.
