We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Buyer in the industry, located in Parsippany, New Jersey, 07054, United States. The role involves contract assignments, liaising with Sales and Marketing, and assisting with Accounts Payable (AP) tasks. The position will be 100% remote and offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:
• Review and process requisitions efficiently and accurately
• Undertake contract assignments and thorough review of contracts
• Collaborate effectively with Sales and Marketing teams
• Set up new vendors in the system in a timely manner
• Assist the Accounts Payable department with invoice related tasks
• Support the Purchasing department as needed
• Order new supplies, ensuring smooth buying processes
• Utilize Teams for communication and collaboration
• Leverage skills in Accounting Functions and Buyer processes
• Use Coupa and Concur for AP, and Excel for data management.• Proficiency in accounting functions, with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP).
• Proven experience in buying processes, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrable experience in a buyer role, preferably within the same industry.
• Ability to analyze market trends and make purchasing decisions based on data.
• Familiarity with supply chain management and inventory control systems.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of securing favorable terms.
• Detail-oriented with an ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using purchasing software and other relevant computer applications.
• Demonstrable understanding of the legal aspects of procurement, including contracts and agreements.
