We are looking AWS Cloud Migrations Lead in the tri-state area, that is a US Citizen or GC. Would be Hybrid if in local area of Cincinnati or remote if outside the area. In this position we are looking for someone that has the needed experience below but also has the confidence with strong communication to drive conversations.
Responsibilities :
·Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure & Application & Platform Migration to Cloud.
·Collaborate with clients to understand their needs.
·Develop solutions that meet client requirements.
·Lead AWS architectural discussions with clients.
·Assist in pre-sales activities to win new business.
·Troubleshoot and resolve AWS-related issues.
·Stay updated on AWS best practices and trends.
·Mentor team members and share AWS knowledge.
·Create technical documentation for projects and solutions.
· Nice-to-have: Similar experience with Microsoft Azure services
·Familiarity with Azure virtual machines, storage services, and Azure Functions.
·Understanding of Azure networking and security, including Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Security Center.
·Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.
·Knowledge of Azure cost management and optimization practices.
·Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure-based solutions.
Qualifications :
·Bachelor's degree in a related field
·AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or equivalent AWS certifications
·Extensive experience (7+ years) with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.
·Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
·Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
·Proven track record in client engagement and relationship building.
·Experience with cloud migration and DevOps practices
·Familiarity with Gov Cloud & CUI data requirements
·Familiarity with AWS pricing models and cost optimization strategies
·Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
·Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
